With the aim of bringing digital printing technologies and their application closer to printing companies in Adria/Balkan region, Print Magazine organized the second DA!-Digital Applications event in Ethno complex Vrdnik (Serbia) on 16th and 17th March. The interest in digital printing technology and solutions was not lacking. In two days more than 350 visitors from all the countries of the region visited the event.
They had a lot to see. The emphasis of the event was primarily on the presentation of digital printing technologies aimed for use by small applications such as souvenirs, promotional products, small packaging, labels, textiles, t-shirts … Renowned world and regional producers of technology and solutions introduced themselves – Epson, Oracal Policarbonati (Orafol, Chemica), Symbol Group (Fuji, Kornit), Fortuna Digital (Avery Dennison), Sitotehnika (Mimaki), PrintPro (Ricoh), NS Grafoprom (Orafol, Sott, Bruxafol), Professional Printing Solutions (HP Indigo), Everest (Starjet, Epson), Car Foil Shop and Multiprint ..
Along with the exhibition, in cooperation with the universities, educational institutions, graphic and marketing experts, designers and participating companies, educational program was also organized. Eight top lecturers and graphic industry experts presented the trends in graphic arts industry, new technologies, market trends, creative sales approaches, the importance of design and branding, investments, business ideas,etc.
Along with the exhibition and lecturers, the first regional competition in car wrapping Adria / Balkan Wrap Star was also held in Vrdnik. The winner won 500 Euros and the right to participate at European competition in January 2019 in Düsseldorf. A little bit of atmosphere you can see at photo gallery.
